Red ink is flowing from prisons: "Gov. Jerry Brown is promoting a state budget that is $25 billion in the red. One quick way to eliminate more than $50 million worth of red ink is to order the Department of Corrections to use the medical release law approved last September.
Californians want some common sense in government. A good place to start would be enforcing laws that save money."
